Patch Adams and the corporate world

The film if great. Patch Adam's ideas e life were wonderful and have changed many people's lives. To me, the most significant moment of the film is when Patch says, " You treat a disease, you win, you lose. You treat a person, I guarantee you, you'll win, no matter what the outcome." How would this quote be adapted to the corporate world? Maybe something like You focus on the result, you win, you lose. You focus on the people, I guarantee you, you'll win, whether you achieved the results or not. It is an adaptation, so it may not be perfect, but for the purpose of scaffolding the corporate schemata, the reflection seems worth it. Companies want positive financial results. There is no harm there, especially because if a company is financially healthy and profitable, that means that all the stakeholders involved in the business have been satisfied: the government, through taxes; the employees; the suppliers; and the owner or the shareholders.
